OUR SELLING POLICY
Most of our inventory is sold in the condition in which we receive it - that is, as is. However, this does not mean that you are buying a machine with deficiencies, known or unknown. Our inventory most commonly comes from large operations being shut down, going out of business, or program cancellations and the equipment we receive from such circumstances is generally in working condition at the time of shutdown. If it isn't, we are advised of the machine's status at the time of our purchase. When there are straight forward hook-ups of common utilities and the controls are familiar to us, some checking of the equipment is possible. When a hook-up is not practical, every effort is made to determine the condition to the extent that is possible without actually powering up the machine. As we develop our test center, our capabilities will increase in this area. But until then, feel assured that we will make a diligent effort to give you an accurate description of the equipment.
WHO BUYS FROM HERITAGE EQUIPMENT?

Generally, experienced buyers who combine our good descriptions, photos, and documentation with their own expertise to decide if a machine is right for them.

If you are not an experienced buyer, are unfamiliar with the equipment you are purchasing, and need advice in the operation and set up, we may refer you to another source who could better serve your needs. Usually though, there would be a substantial price difference between us and the other source. This underscores the main advantage in buying from Heritage Equipment: that is to save considerably by applying your own expertise to the equipment if attention is required prior to service.
